At the beginning of the COVID lockdown, Fulla flew to Michigan to get through the pandemic with her mom. While there, she met Josh on Hinge who didn't realize she was currently several states away.

Josh and Fulla spent the next three months in a virtual courtship--watching Planet Earth together, calling and going for walks together, and exchanging dreams for what we had hoped for after the pandemic subsided.

In July, Fulla and Josh got to meet in person and began a New York long-distance relationship, commuting from Harlem to Bed Stuy to see each other. They moved in together a year after dating into a lovely apartment in Cobble Hill and soon after became parents to the loveliest little cats, Olive and Lemon.

Three years after meeting, Fulla and Josh went on a trip to Portugal to celebrate their anniversary, which is where Josh proposed to Fulla the morning of their anniversary via a beautiful handmade card which Fulla promptly left behind in the hotel room in Lisbon. After Josh made her a facsimile of the proposal card, they began planning their wedding and are very excited to celebrate with you all!
