Book Tower Detroit
The Book Tower is also home to Roost Detroit, an extended stay hotel. We have reserved a room block for the following rates from Friday, September 13th-Monday, September 16th. Note, we included Friday in the room block as a courtesy to those who may want to come a little early and explore the city, but there is no expectation that you arrive on that day.
The rates we reserved are:
King Studio - $289 per night
One Bedroom Apartment - $309 per night
If you need a double room (room with two beds), please write to Fulla or Josh and we can tell the hotel to add it to our block.

Courtyard Detroit Dearborn
For a more affordable option, we have a room block available at the Courtyard Detroit Dearborn. This hotel is a 15-20 minute drive from the Book Tower. This hotel also offers complimentary parking.

Parking at the Book Tower
The Book Tower has Metropolis valet services on site. You can pull up to the Book Tower Washington Blvd entrance and the valet will meet you as you arrive.
For those staying at the Book Tower, you will have the same option with in and out privileges.
Aside from valet, there is street parking paid by the meter (our wedding is on Sunday so street parking will be free!) and a self parking garage ( Trolley Parking Garage ) on Washington Blvd connected to the Detroit City Club apartments. This parking option is $30 overnight.
Metropolis Valet Pricing:
$20 - up to 8 hours
$25 - 8 -12 hours
$45 - 12 - 24 hours
$45 - Overnight ( per 24 hour period )
Hotel Indigo Detroit Downtown, an IHG Hotel
If you don't want to stay at the Book Tower, you may consider staying at Hotel Indigo, which is a very short walk from the Book Tower.
The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit
Another historic hotel option in downtown Detroit and a very short walk from the Book Tower.
Amtrak
For those of you traveling from Chicago, you have the option to take the Amtrak.
If you go this route, you will take the Wolverine line from Union Station (CHI) to Detroit (DET) Station. The Detroit Amtrak station is about a 10-minute drive from the Book Tower.
We suggest booking early to get the best fares. They can be as low as $70-100 for a round trip!
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)
For those of you flying, you will be arriving at DTW. Most major airlines have direct flights to Detroit. If you decide to rent a car, it would be best to do it from here. The airport is about a 30-minute drive to the Book Tower.
Car Rentals
We highly recommend you rent a car (or share with other guests) while you're in Detroit. It is by far the best way to get around. If you don't drive and are concerned about transit, please let us know. The best place to rent a car is at the DTW airport when you fly in. If you're arriving at the Detroit Amtrak station, there is an Enterprise about 10-15 drive away at 3245 Wright St.
